Stinky Sir Pretzel Von Crumb

So, Sir Pretzel Von Crumb; the mini dachshund decided to take a dip in what he discovered was a deep pond which his little tiny sausage dog legs got stuck firmly in. 

Believe me when I say it stunk! Anyway, I tried to get knob dog out with a large stick looped into his harness, calling him with treats but to no avail. He was firmly stuck in the mud. I knew I was going to have to get this first class a-hole out myself. So, in I went fully clothed to rescue him. I was covered in green algae and pond weed and had to spend the remainder of our walk (we had only just arrived) wreaking of “eau du pond”. (Just look at my shoes!).
