The Trouble with Smudge (and friends)

The trouble with Smudge is that he never stands still.  He barks at dust, chases cars, bikes, joggers but as night falls and the clink of ice from the hoomans glass is sounded he takes his place on the gorgeously comfortable seat by the fire and there he slumbers until the call of the last wee wees in the garden is bellowed signalling a slow, foot dragging walk to the back door and then an equally slow but surreptitious walk to bed where he plans his next day of tom foolery.

The trouble with Smudge is that he gets caught up in altercations with foxes, he is vocal, conversing with dogs, cats and anything that should cross his path.

And the trouble with Smudge is….who knows where he will be tomorrow.
